Let me start by clarifying that unlike Jagoya, our buffet at Genji is only available on the weekends due to popular demand of the items on the spread. I would also like to reassure you that the prawn and squid used in the buffet do not contain any preservatives, the sashimi is freshly cut and the oyster/ tuna are imported from Australia. As for the Ebiko, this is served as part of the ingredients of the California Roll. Your prawn and squid contains preservative, which makes it more "Q" that I can taste! The sashimi is frozen, the oysters are tasteless, chawan mushi- i have not tasted anywhere worse with buffet price more than RM70 per person. The variety of food is down right lousy. Handroll only has california rolls. Simple things like ebiko is not available. For the same price I am paying in Jogoya, I get so many other varieties and the food there tastes so much fresher and nicer. I was there because my friend recommended me to try.
