Kevin is right, I must agree.
If experience is what PJ Hilton is looking for, it should have been mentioned in the criterias.

Overall, it has been really disappointing as I worked hard on my entry.

Dear Kevin,

Thank you for sharing your comments with us. We are delighted that our Anniversary Contest has received so many entries. And, most importantly to us is our guests sharing their happy and memorable moments as we turn 25 years. These words of encouragement are invaluable to us;) Thank you to all participants.

We hope that all participants will understand that we have to make the final 25 selections. Nevertheless, Kevin, please be assured that we will be more mindful in the way our contest will be worded in the future.

As one who would give feedback when organizers don't follow their own rules, here are my comments regarding the result of this anniversary contest.

You mentioned “We are looking to reward 25 MOST CREATIVE greetings that can share their fondest memory and experience at the hotel or at our restaurants.”

I am afraid more than half of your selection of winners are downright BORING AND UNIMAGINATIVE. What happened to the first and foremost criterion – MOST CREATIVE?

Even though some of the more readable and fun comments may seem farfetched, I really enjoyed their creativity of storytelling and fine verses that make me smile.

With the exception of Velerene Liaw's entry, which I find to be more deserving than the tailending winners, it seems your panel of judges are only looking for entries that are perceived to be true experiences. Anything fancy and nice most likely would fall into the “false heap”. You should set the prejudice aside and take them all as true. Sacrificing lively creativity for dull nostalgic occurrence is not the correct manner to celebrate Hilton PJ's 25th anniversary.
